Journey & Calling
Rafael’s ministry journey began in 1998 after coming to faith in Christ in Puerto Rico, where he received a prophetic word about his pastoral calling, symbolized by “carrying luggage.” Years later, that vision became reality in Fort Worth, where he now pastors a thriving church community. Together with his wife of more than 20 years, Rafael is also a proud father to three children: Obed, Jonathan, and Nathan.
Education & Ministry
Pastor Rafael holds a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Universidad Teológica del Caribe and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. He blends biblical depth with practical wisdom, guiding CDRA into a healthy and growing community. His preaching is marked by uncompromising truth, visionary leadership, and a shepherd’s heart that inspires people to experience real transformation through the presence and power of God.

Pastor Rafael Evans, originally from Puerto Rico, has called Texas home for the past 13 years. Together with his wife, Nixalis Benítez, he leads Casa de Restauración Ágape in Fort Worth, Texas, with a deep passion for discipleship, restoration, and spiritual growth. Married for more than 20 years, Rafael and Nixalis are the proud parents of three children: Obed, Jonathan, and Nathan.
